I'm sorry that I thought taking too many pictures was a waste of time.... I hate how the most annoying things can turn out to be useful.
The Onion rules.
This is the trailer for a new movie called Unforgivable. It is not the same as the famous Unforgivable youtube videos. (If you aren't opposed to obscenities and racist comments I suggest you watch these videos. They are hilarious!)
I went to Naz8 Cinemas today to watch Billu Barber and this was one of the trailers. By the way, Billu Barber is pretty funny but it dragged on way too long, especially the end. SRKs 15-20 min speech at the end was really slow and boring. Bollywood filmmakers really have to learn how to end a movie properly. Most movies that come out of bollywood take a completely different turn after the intermission and its really starting to annoy me.
Anyway, back to the subject.
From this trailer I can only assume that this movie was shot as a home video and for some reason the makers want to embarrass themselves. Since it was obviously made with almost no budget they will probably make a profit from those few people who go to see this movie without watching this trailer. I thank the producers of this movie for making a trailer to warn me not to watch such a poorly made film.
Over the past few days every time I paid for something in cash, I got back more change than I should have gotten. I'm not complaining. I like having money in my wallet. I'm just amazed at how those cashiers didn't realize their mistake. I mean the cash register tells the cashier the exact amount of change that is due, right?
In between classes yesterday I wanted a snack so I went to a small store in the Engineering building. I picked up a muffin and a 1L bottle of water - total cost: $3 and some change. I give the guy a $20 bill and he gives me back $19.35. Where did this guy learn his math skills? He's in an Engineering building and he can't do simple subtraction. I didn't mind paying 65 cents for my snack, but I was just confused at how school has failed him so badly.
Another such incident happened today. I doubt this was a math error on her part. She probably wasn't looking at the bills properly, or maybe it was her way of telling me she liked me, I don't know. I bought lunch today at a burger joint on campus. It was a garden burger with fries and a drink. I think the cost was $5.45 for the meal. Again I pay with a $20. Obviously, the change should have been $14.55, but she gave me $24.55 back instead! Before she could realize her mistake, I grabbed the change and power walked my way to the farthest table I could find. I don't know if I felt guilty. I think I was so overjoyed that for the first time in my life someone had paid me to eat good food that there was not room for any other emotion.
I sincerely hope that cashiers are on my side for many of my future cash transactions. Extra money rules.
