It's a new me!
I made major change in my life today -- I got contacts. I never wanted them before because I like how I look with glasses but more than that I really didn't want to stick my finger in my eye. This last year though I was pissed at how they kept scratching when i was cleaning them. So now I have daily contacts and I don't have to worry about that anymore. They feel really weird in my eyes but i guess I'll get used to that soon. Once today I was just rubbing my eyes and one of the contacts came out and it took me around 20 minutes to get it back in. I think once I get used to them I will be able to appreciate seeing everything clearly to a greater extent.
I also got a bike today! I don't think I've had one since middle school. I don't know much about bikes but I decided to get a hybrid for comfort. I tested out a '08 GT Nomad on Saturday and I really liked it so I went back with a van to pick up the bike on Sunday, but they already sold it and they had no more '08 models of the GT Nomad in the store. I called a few places and apparently no other bike store in my area sells GT bikes. So I went back to that first store today and picked up a '08 GT Zum. I'll get to ride around the town once more!
I'm surprised I did so much today! This last week has been mostly just bagging out. I'm pretty happy though.
